Original music by Tim Wheat

Ash on Boots from Pulse of the New Machines
Nest of Teeth from Pulse of the New Machines
Fell In: One of our most popular Absolute Zero songs circa 2002, but I laid this version back down (with greatly enhanced recording capabilities IE: Not on an Audigy Soundblaster...yeah...who remembers those?) in 2026.

One Voice. Different Machines.

I’ve never been real interested in staying inside a single genre.

Some songs arrive as riffs. Others begin with a phrase, a rhythm, an old memory, or a sound that will not leave me alone. The result might become metal, hard rock, country, industrial experimentation, acoustic storytelling, or something that refuses to fit neatly into any of them.

The form changes. The purpose does not: make something honest, make it click in my own head...or my friends' heads, and leave something behind when the final note disappears.

From Small Rooms to Large Stages

My musical life began long before streaming platforms and social feeds: writing songs, loading gear, recording wherever we could, and performing anywhere that would let us turn the amplifiers up.

Over the years, I have written more than eighty original songs across multiple full-length projects and opened for major label artists including Megadeth, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and Zakk Wylde/Black Label Society.

The archive continues to grow, but the next song still matters more than the last one.
